What should be paid attention to when cleaning solar panels?

To ensure the longevity of your solar panel, it is best to clean it during cooler periods such as the early morning, evening or night. Avoiding high temperatures, like during noon, will prevent any damage to the panel.

When cleaning, be careful to avoid using hard or sharp objects that may scratch or damage the panel. Additionally, be mindful not to step on any components like the bracket or solar panel itself, as this could cause damage to the power station and shorten its lifespan.

Taking these simple precautions will help keep your solar panel in great condition and maximize its energy output for years to come.

According to the current industry operation and maintenance experience, in winter and other snow and rain seasons, it can be cleaned once a month (such as snow should be cleaned in time), and other months can be cleaned twice a month. For wind and sand areas, it depends on the specific situation.

It is recommended to avoid using soapy water when cleaning components. While soap can be effective in cleaning, it can leave a thin film or residue on the surface of photovoltaic components. This film can actually attract and accumulate more dust, which can ultimately reduce the amount of power generated by the station. Therefore, it's best to avoid using corrosive cleaning agents and stick to a gentle, non-soapy solution when cleaning your components to ensure optimal performance.
